When you visit an open house there are a few things to keep in mind. The realtor will probably ask you to sign a sign in sheet. Please do it. It lets the realtor keep track of who went through the home and serves as a reminder of feedback that was given. The home usually doesn't belong to the agent holding it open. They will and should be concerned about muddy feet, children running unattended, people picking up things etc. The simple rule is treat the home with respect. Make sure you keep your kids at your side for their safety as well as piece of mind for the realtor. If there are refreshments offer keep them in the kitchen area or grab them as you leave. That's it!
